I was playing around with my fabrics on Sunday. I always wanted to try and recreate the painting I did of Down to Earth in fabric. I still have a few things to add, but thought I 'd share what I've done so far with you. It still has the essence of the original painting, but I could not help but put some spring colors in it. I especially like the color bubbles. Spring is gurggling from the earth. I can feel it, can you?
When the top is done, I will then send it to Sylvia Gauthier, master quilter, and have her work her magic. The it will go into our etsy mercantile. Can't wait until we get that up and running.
