This painting started out to be a red sky full of blue blue birds in flight. But after I painted the background and stared into it, I saw this little dogs face. Immediately I painted out the dog. What's his name you ask? "Valentine"
Since today is Valentine's birthday, I painted him a lemon cake with blueberry frosting and covered it with sprinkles. He was apprehensive about putting the hat on, but after awhile he forgot about it. In this painting he is getting ready to blow out his candle, but first he is making a wish.
