This is a painting of Rudy at his birthday party. He is 1/2 dauchsand and 1/2 chocolate lab. He is so very excited because he got his wish! All he wanted was a carrot cake with orange creme cheese frosting and sprinkles. Earlier in the day, he went for a long walk in the woods, and got to sit in the front seat of the truck. Oh wat a special day it was for him indeed.

This painting started out to be a red sky full of blue blue birds in flight. But after I painted the background and stared into it, I saw this little dogs face. Immediately I painted out the dog. What's his name you ask? "Valentine"
Since today is Valentine's birthday, I painted him a lemon cake with blueberry frosting and covered it with sprinkles. He was apprehensive about putting the hat on, but after awhile he forgot about it. In this painting he is getting ready to blow out his candle, but first he is making a wish.
