12/30/16  ~ View from my backyard. ~

This morning I woke up anxious to start the day.
My spirit is excited that I lived through 2016.
Many did not.
Thank you God for blessing me with the promise of a New Year.
As I moved through this day, I asked myself how can I make a difference in 2017.
I came across this quote by Catherine of Siena:
“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”
Oh that sounds like a wonderful quest to discover who God wants me to be in 2017.
Perhaps you might decide to focus on that too.
I decided it will be the focus of my blog posts from now until next December.
Praying for everyone reading this post that 2017 brings you Peace, Love and Joy and the greatest of course... LOVE.

.~ Bear With Me. ~

I have just started blogging again and it appears my posts that are showing up in your email box are repeating themselves.  I apologize for that.  Please bear with me as I try and unlock the mystery of why this is happening. ~TSM

.~ Creative Thought . ~

There is nothing more difficult for a truly creative painter than to paint a rose because before he can do so he has to forget all the roses that have ever been painted.

Nothing goes to waste on the journey of life.
Both good and bad experiences shape your mind and heart
of what is to come.
                                                                                                      ~ Leon Brown

I am struggling with a transition.
I feel the time is ripe, however there is a fear of letting go of the familiar.
The words simply surrender resonate to me.
But the question is do I simply surrender to the flow of the transition?
Or simply surrender that I am to fearful to let go?

This conundrum that I am in reminds me of the line from the movie Shawshank Redemption:
Get busy living or get busy dying.

When put like that, it the answer seems apparent.
So why I am I struggling?

Nothing goes to waste on the journey of life. Both good and bad experiences shape your mind and heart for what is to come.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
                                                 ~ Albert Einstein

It is interesting to me that "white animals" appear whenever I am in a deep sadness.  One year a white horse, a white heron and a white cat showed up out of nowhere in my yard in a week's time.
I heard some news the other day that made me very sad.
The white animals started to appear again.
First a flock of white birds appeared and then the white cat.
Mind you, I do not see this white cat on a regular basis.

Not sure what it all means, but I am very intrigued by it all.
