What is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads?

.~ No Strings Attached.~

No Strings Attached
By Traci Suzanne Marvel

No matter what the circumstances, you can always count on your dog to be a loyal and faithful companion. If humans showed this same loyalty and faithfulness to each other, they would be one step closer to having a successful, lifelong, loving relationship.

.~ New Half-Year's Resolutions ~ .

“Dig within. Within is the wellspring of Good; and it is always ready to bubble up, if you just dig.”
                                                                                                               ― Marcus Aurelius

Marilu Henner's Total Health Makeover desk calendar reminds me that - July 1st, 2014 - marks the official second half of the year. Marilu suggests that on this day you do the following:

"Make a list of everything that's been working in your life these past six months, and a second lost of everything that hasn't. These two lists will tell you at a glance what you want to keep and what you need to change for the rest of the year." ~ Marilu Henner

Today I am going to dig within and identify 6 things that have been working and 6 things that I need to change. There is still time to make 2014 the B.E.S.T year of my life.

How about you?
What does your list look like?

List #1. What's been Working (Keep)
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

List#2. What's Not Been Working (Change)
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Those who share their list on my blog will get their name entered to win  my giclee' print ...
" Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second.
Give your dreams all you got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you."
                                                                            ~Willam James

Are you ready to pull out all the stops and make the second half of this year better than the first?
Are you ready to fuel your 2014 dreams?

Looking forward to reading your comments.
Winning name will be chosen randomly July 31st 2014 at Happy Hour (5:00 p.m. MT)

Father's Day Give~A~Way

~ .My Dad. ~

My dad LOVED it when I would tell him stories that included me saying..."My dad."He would say, "do you know how much that means to me to know that I am your dad?"
I just want you to know how very much it meant to me that I was your daughter.

Gerald Vincent Fender

September 21st, 1929 - February 29th, 2000

My dad passed away February 29th, 2000.
It was leap day.
Goes to show you what a great sense of humor my dad had.

My dad was a pretty cool cat.
Born to hang out with the likes of
Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis JR.

My dad was my biggest fan and he told me that I was the
 "apple of his eye."
I think it showed.

My dad constantly told me how much he loved me.
I remember when I first told him I was moving to Montana to live in a tee-pee,
he said, "how are we going to communicate, through smoke signals?"

Nope, no smoke signals, but my dad sent me lots and lots of letters that I still have and treasure.

My dad was a good listener.
And my dad could take any problem I had
and put a positive twist on it.

My dad was a painter, a poet, a song writer, a photographer, a philosopher
and
The world's GREATEST salesman.

Even though they did not have a fairy tale life together
one thing was for sure,
My dad loved my mom very much.

If there were visiting hours in heaven, my dad would be the first person I would ask to see.
I would tell my dad all the things that have happened here on earth in the last 14 years.
And tell my dad about how wonderful his grand children are turning out to be.
If only, I could have the opportunity to talk with my dad about my life today.
If only I could share with my dad my art, my hopes, my dreams.
To let him know that things are good.
To let him know how blessed I feel that he was my dad.

My dad wasn't perfect, but he was MY dad.
I loved my dad very much and miss my dad even more.

Dad, thank you for all your love and all your encouragement.
Thank you for sharing your passion for nature, horses, music, art, books, movies especially -westerns, good conversation, and most important family.
I carry you, I carry, you I carry you in my heart.
I will love you forever with all my heart and all my soul.

Your Adoring Daughter,

~ Traci Suzanne"Sunshine" Fender ~

In honor of my dad, I am giving away one of my giclee' prints.
It is called More than Meets the Eye.
I think my dad would have really liked this one.

.~ Mother's Day Give~A~Way ~.

No language can express the power, and beauty, and heroism, and majesty of a mother’s love. It shrinks not where man cowers, and grows stronger where man faints, and over wastes of worldly fortunes sends the radiance of its quenchless fidelity like a star.

~Edwin Hubbell Chapin

he made the perfect person.
I believe that to be true.

It's called Venturer Highway and represents the
 strength, power and beauty
 of a mother's love.

Sunday May 11th at 9:00 am MT

.~ Spring 2014 Update.~

It's been awhile now since I have posted on my blog.
I have been transitioning into a new job.
Life has settled a bit.
I am reuniting with my authentic self and I am back creating in my art shack.
Balancing a day job and a life passion is challenging,
but one's true colors shine through right?
At least that is what I learned from Cyndi Lauper.

ART

I Dig You
Original Design by Traci Suzanne Marvel

On the creative side of things, I have three paintings in the works.
I Dig You is one of them.
Just put in an order to have this image made into post cards.
The original painting does not have the words on it and I think I will sell it that way.

I also have a horse painting I am working on.
And a sailboat too.
Will share those here when I get a little further along.

As far as Woolin Rouge Designs company, Sylvia and I are so close to having our Coffee, Tea or Bee? Mug Rugs Series patterns available to sell.
There are five flowers: Daisies, Poppies, Sunflower, Dogwood and Coneflowers.

Stay tuned to our Woolin Rouge Website for details when the patterns will be ready.
There are some other exciting things happening behind the scenes at Woolin Rouge Designs
but I can't say just yet. Again please sign up to receive our newsletter and also keep your eye on our blog.

New to my Etsy store are my hand designed lavender sachets.
You can find them here: Traci Suzanne Marvel Etsy
There are lots of other fun paintings, cards, photographs in my etsy store too.
All of which are looking for a good home.

Oh, I almost forgot!
an amazing designer purchased my After the Fall Photograph!
His name is Kerry Joyce.
Take a look at his website.
Wow!
